1980 – Kodavatiganti Kutumba Rao, also called Ko Ku, was an influencer of the Telugu literature in the 20th century.

1982 – Camille Bulcke was a Belgian Jesuit missionary in India who was later recognized as “India’s most renowned Christian Hindi scholar”. 

2010 – Dulal Dutta was a film editor in the Bengali film industry who is especially remembered for his association with the acclaimed film director Satyajit Ray.
