1933 – Ela Ramesh Bhatt is a cooperative organiser, activist, and Gandhian, who founded the Self-Employed Women’s Association of India in 1972. She served as its general secretary from 1972 to 1996 and is now the current Chancellor of the Gujarat Vidyapith.
1951 – Mammootty, originally called Muhammad Kutty Panaparambil Ismail, is a film actor and producer who works in Malayalam cinema. In four decades, he has appeared in over 400 films.
1977 – Sachin Rajesh Pilot is a politician. He was the Deputy CM of Rajasthan and has also been the President of the Rajasthan Pradesh Congress Committee. He has represented the Tonk assembly seat in Rajasthan since 2018.

1985 – Radhika Apte is an actress who began her career in theatre. She made her debut with a brief role in ‘Vaah! Life Ho Toh Aisi!’ after which she worked in Hindi, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Bengali, and English-language films.
