AEW Dynamite Highlights 21 April 2021 -AEW Dynamite Results: Full Results, Highlights, Recap, Videos, Grades, Best & Worst Moments – 21st April 2021

The live edition of AEW Dynamite starts directly with the intro. The stage fireworks are followed by a greeting from Jim Ross, Tony Schiavone and Excalibur. The commentators go through today’s matches. This is followed by a pop-up hype video by Ricky Starks. He’s going to show people tonight why people call him “Absolute” Ricky Starks.aew dynamite highlights 21 april 2021

Taz goes to the commentators for the first match of the evening.

AEW Dynamite Highlights 21 April 2021

1- Match

Adam Page defeated Ricky Starks (w / Hook) by giving up in a rear-choke / ankle-lock combination

After the match: Taz grabs a microphone and claims that Page was just lucky. He should also have better eyes in the back of his head. Hook is in the ring attacking Page’s knee. A double team campaign by Hook & Starks follows. Then Brian Cage goes into the ring and wants to carry out a power bomb against Page, but The Dark Order make the save. Elite members Kenny Omega, Matt Jackson, Nick Jackson, Doc Gallows, Karl Anderson and Don Callis enter their own trailer outside the hall. Pop-Up Video: Alex Aberhantes acts as translator for the hype promo by Penta El Zero Miedo.

2- match

Penta El Zero Miedo (w / Alex Aberhantes) defeated Trent (w / Orange Cassidy) after the Package Piledriver – during the match Abrahantes grabbed a microphone and, among other things, pulled on Trent’s mother, then Cassidy entered the ring, but Penta knocked out Cassidy with a super kick, then Abrahantes hit Trent with the mic and Penta let his finisher follow

Earlier Today Video: This is followed by the sit-down interview between Jim Ross and Pinnacle members MJF, Dax Harwood, Cash Wheeler, Wardlow and Shawn Spears. Tully Blanchard stayed home preparing her match schedule for the Blood & Guts Match.

Wardlow presents MJF with a new scarf and praised Chris Jericho for one of the best promos of his career. Jericho is very careful when talking about Wardlow.

MJF makes it clear that it was the only guy Jericho couldn’t outsmart. In addition to being great, MJF is undefeated while defeating Jericho. He’s better than Jericho and Demo God knows that too. Jericho once referred to MJF as a target. MJF agrees, but it is not a target for Jericho in the original sense, because it is much more a target for Jericho’s place and this he will take on May 5th at AEW Dynamite: Blood & Guts.

AEW Women’s Championship

Hikaru Shida (c) defeated Tay Conti after the katana

After the match: Dr. Britt Baker enters the stage and shows Hikaru Shida on a current ranking graphic on the video screen that she is the top contender and will claim a future title match. Hikaru Shida throws her kendo stick at Baker, but she evades and waves before going into the backstage area. Video: Miro explains that it doesn’t matter who he fights, because in the end it only matters who he’ll defeat first.

The Inner Circle go into the ring for an interview with Tony Schiavone. Jericho doesn’t want to talk about what Pinnacle said in the video. Instead, he thanks the crowd and advertises the upcoming Blood & Guts Match between Inner Circle and Pinnacle. It will be one of the most violent and brutal matches that TNT will ever see. Jericho recalls that their honorary member, Mike Tyson, beat up Cash Wheeler.

Jake Hager tosses some straws and explains that all Pinnacle members will have their meals through straws after the Blood & Guts Match.

Santana also speaks and says that they have already seen the color of their blood, but on May 5th they will recognize the size of their hearts. Jericho makes fun of MJF because he doesn’t stop talking. Jericho says he thinks MJF still thinks he’s singing show tunes on Rose O’Donnell’s talk show.

The demo God wrote a show tune about MJF and will play it briefly to make fun of MJF. Jericho announces an old-fashioned parley for the next week. Both teams will meet to discuss their battle plans. Jericho ends the segment by claiming that The Inner Circle will own The Pinnacle’s asses on May 5th.

Pop-up video: We see The Factory. Anthony Ogogo moves across America. He’s only in the US to make big bucks. QT Marshall wants to teach the Nightmare Family the value of loyalty.

Before the next match: Billy Gunn attacks The Factory as they move in and promotes QT Marshall into the ring.

4- Match

QT Marshall (w / Aaron Solow & Nick Comoroto) defeated Billy Gunn after the diamond cutter – at the end of the match Anthony Ogogo stormed to the ring and punched Billy Gunn down (unnoticed by the referee)

After the match: Ogogo hands Marshall a wooden chair. When Marshall tries to hit Billy with the chair, Dustin Rhodes storms into the ring and uses a bull rope against Marshall. Rhodes continues to bother Marshall and then grabs the wooden chair. Ogogo goes to the edge of the ring and Comoroto wants to use the distraction to attack Rhodes, but he ducks and hammers the wooden chair on Comoroto’s head. The wood breaks and has no effect on Comoroto. Several referees storm the ring and keep both wrestlers at a distance.

Video: Kenny Omega, Matt Jackson, Nick Jackson, Doc Gallows, Karl Anderson and Don Callis are in the trailer. The Elite are hyping themselves and when Kenny Omega wants to bring some news to Omega, they are interrupted by an outside honking vehicle.

Outside, Jon Moxley and Eddie Kingston are in a pickup truck driving into the side of the trailer. Afterwards, Moxley and Kingston want to pay the elite a visit, but the heels are no longer there. Moxley was therefore frustrated and destroyed a window with a steel pipe.

A video follows to Jade Cargill. Matt Hardy and Vickie Guerrero separately share that they would like to manage Cargill. Cargill makes it clear that she doesn’t need a manager as she is her own boss.

6- Match

AEW TNT Championship

Darby Allin (c) (w / Sting) defeated Jungle Boy (w / Luchasaurus) after the Last Supper – at the end of the match, Sting and Luchasaurus fought each other in the backstage area

After the match: Darby Allin and Jungle Boy are from Scorpio Sky & Ethan Page attacks. Page gives Allin the ego’s edge. Afterwards Lance Archer wants to make the save, but Sky & Page perform a double low blow against Archer. Meanwhile, Sting returns with a baseball bat and the heels pull back. That ends the show.
