Four cops were killed and seven injured in Dallas, Police chief David Brown said. During one of many demonstrations held in cities across the United States of America against the second fatal police shooting of a black man in two days.
Dallas Police chief said, in a statement two shooters in elevated situations shot 11 cops, killing three. Police said on Twitter later a fourth cop had died. At least one more was in surgery.
Both shooting suspects are in under the police custody. While one suspects surrendered, the other was arrested by cops after a manhunt.
“Our thoughts and prayers are with the Dallas law enforcement community and the Dallas Area Rapid Transit officers killed and injured this evening,” Governor Greg Abbott said in a statement.
This shooting happened when a large number of peaceful Protests spread-out around the United States after the shooting of Philando Castile, 32, by police near St Paul, Minnesota, late on Wednesday.
