Apple has launched the latest generation of its flagship Products, iPhone X. The all-glass device has an amazing edge-to-edge display with no home button. Facial recognition software is used to unlock the phone. Wireless charging is one of its prominent features. The Company has also launched iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus with 4.7 inch and 5.5 inch screens respectively.
Launching these phones at the 10th anniversary of the original iPhone, Tim Cook, Apple CEO said “Our intention has always been to create something so magical, powerful that the hardware virtually disappears”. He further added that it was a “new step forward for iPhone” which will “set the path for technology for the next decade”.
India will have to wait for a few more days to get these phone in hand as September 29 has been set the date for launch of iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus in India. Both the phones – iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus will have only two variants – 64GB and 256GB storage. The expected price of iPhone 8 is Rs.64,000 for the 64GB variant and Rs.77,000 for phone with 256GB storage. iPhone 8 Plus is expected to be priced at Rs.73,000 for 64GB and Rs.86,000 for the 256GB variant.
With wireless charging, both the phones are water and dust resistant and have 12MP Camera. iPhone 8 Plus also has a Portrait Lighting feature for enhancing light effects on the face. The phones have glass at both front and the back side.
Wait for iPhone X availability in India will be longer as iPhone X is expected to be launced in India on November 3. The cost of this amazing phone would be Rs.89,000 for 64GB and Rs.102,000 for 256GB variant.
Accessories for these phone would also be availabe at Apple Stores. The phones, launched in three colors – Silver, Grey and Gold finish would also have lightning docks available at the Apple Stores for Rs.4700.
