Arnab Goswami quits Times now
Arnab Goswami, Editor in chief of Times now resigned from his post today. Goswami was not seen on his prime-time show in past couple of days.
Sources reported that he announced his resignation at an editorial meeting. It is also reported that he wanted to start something on his own.
The channel, however, is showing teasers of Newshour with the slug ‘Arnab is Back’.
Goswami might start a news channel with Rajeev Chandrasekhar and American media baron Rupert Murdoch. It is rumored that he might join Fox News.
He started his career at the Telegraph in Kolkata. Year after he joined NDTV and then later switched to Times now as Editor in Chief.
TheQuint.com reported that during his hour-long farewell speech he kept repeating that the “game has just begun”.
