Bhagwant Mann Biography – Bhagwant Mann known for his comedy with political satire is all set to become the next Chief Minister of Punjab. He contested the 2022 Punjab assembly elections from the constituency of Dhuri and has emerged as a winner. He was the Aam Admi Party’s Chief Minister candidate and will be soon taking the office.

The young 48 years old Chief Minister started his career as a comedian during his college. He used to participate in various events and competitions and even won 2 gold medals during that time. He released his first comedy album with Jagtar Jaggi and the duo became super hit. The duo released several albums during the 90s. After 10 years they separated but reunited in 2006 for a Canada tour.

Bhagwant Mann entered politics in 2011 when he joined the People’s Party of Punjab. However, he was unable to win the 2012 elections.
However, in 2014 he joined AAP and won the 2014 Lok Sabha elections from Sangrur. But in 2017 he lost against Sukhbir Singh Badal in Jalalabad.
