CBSE Schools to collect fees online now

With a view of promoting cashless transaction after demonetization, The central board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has asked all its schools to start collecting fees in cashless mode from the upcoming quarter.


CBSE secretary in his letter to the principals of schools has asked to introduce cashless ways for fee collection. He has asked to use online or non-cash gateways.

CBSE directive said, “The board has asked affiliated schools to disburse salary to staff through bank transfers. They have also been asked to collect fees from students online.”

After the demonetization move by Indian Government, Several schools already switched to the non-cash method of collecting fee payments, but now it has been made necessary.
