1. Michael Colin Cowdrey:

One of the earliest legends in cricket history, Michael Colin Cowdrey is one of the greatest English players who ever lived. Interestingly, he was born at Putumala, India, and started his international cricketing career at the age of 22 when he played against Australia in the 1954-55 tour. He is the first English batsman to play 100 Test Matches and celebrated this achievement by smashing a century (104) against Australia at Edgbaston, Birmingham on July 11, 1968.

2. Javed Miandad:

Javed Miandad is the first batsman from Pakistan and the second in the world to join the club. He holds the record for the second-highest career runs for Pakistan. He scored 145 against India at Lahore on 1 December 1989, during his 100th Test Match.

3. CG Greenidge:

West Indies batsman, Gordon Greenidge scored a phenomenal 149 against England in St John’s on April 12, 1990. He also became the first player to score a century in his 100th ODI match against Pakistan with an incredible 102 not out in 1988.

4. AJ Stewart:

Alex Stewart was the second English batsman to become a part of the ‘Hundred in Hundredth Club’ with his 105 against West Indies at Manchester on August 3, 2000.

5. Inzamam-ul-Haq:

Pakistan also joined England to have 2 batsmen who scored a century in their 100th Test Match when Inzamam-ul-Haq smashed 184 against arch-rivals India at Bengaluru on March 24, 2005. He is also remembered for his deadly innings against Martin Crowe’s invincible New Zealand in the 1992 World Cup when he smashed 60 off 37 balls to single-handedly win the match for Pakistan.

6. Ricky Ponting:

Perhaps the greatest Australian skipper of all time, Ponting scored a century in each innings of his 100th Test match against South Africa at Sydney on January 2, 2006. He scored a mind-blowing 120 in the first innings and a deadlier 143 not out in the second innings to add yet another record in his long list of feats. Ricky Ponting is the only batsmen in this club to have scored 2 centuries in his 100th Test Match.

7. Graeme Smith:

South African skipper, Graeme Smith who holds the record for the highest number of test wins as a captain (53), joined the club on July 19, 2012, when he scored 131 against England at the Oval.

8. Hashim Amla:

The second South African and the latest member in the ‘Hundred in Hundredth Club’ is Hashim Amla. He scored 134 against Sri Lanka at Johannesburg on January 12, 2017. Amla achieved the feat after 10 consecutive innings without any fifties.
