Day Night Test Match News – The former captain of the Indian Cricket team, Mahendra Singh Dhoni can now be seen playing a key role in the day-night Test match which will be held at the Eden Gardens ground in Kolkata from 22 November onwards. The second Test match of the two-match test series between India and Bangladesh will be the first time that the Indian team will be playing a day-night Test.

Day Night Test Match News – Mahendra Singh Dhoni can make his debut in commentary with this match. The host broadcaster, Star Sports has given a proposal for the same to the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and it’s new President Sourav Ganguly. The board and its new president will now have to approve it from their end.

According to the plan, the former captains will be invited to this historic Test match and will remind us of the historically memorable moments from the Indian Test. According to the agency, ‘Indian Test captains will be invited on Day-1 and Day-2. All the captains will be present at the ground during the National Anthem along with current captain Virat Kohli and the rest of the team and then the former captain will go to the commentary box and share memorable moments of their Test career.

Day Night Test Match News – It will be VVS Laxman, Sourav Ganguly, Harbhajan Singh, Anil Kumble, and Rahul Dravid who will share memories of the 2001 Test match and it will also be seen on the big screen.

Dhoni has been away from international cricket since the semi-final of the ICC World Cup 2019. There are some reports that during this time, Dhoni can also announce his retirement from international cricket. Dhoni is also not going to be a part of the team in India’s West Indies tour, India’s home series against South Africa and India’s home series against Bangladesh. Apart from this, there are plans for a live telecast of the practice sessions of team India. Fans can also be given free entries to watch the training sessions of the Indian Cricket team.
