Chennai Super Kings had picked up Deepak Chahar for a whopping Rs 14 crores in the TATA IPL 2022 auction. This will be a massive set back for Chennai Super Kings who have lost four out of their five matches in TATA IPL 2022 so far. CSK have tried Adam Milne, Tushar Deshpande, and Mukesh Choudhary so far but none of them have managed to create an impact in the tournament so far. Deepak Chahar had played a major role in CSK’s trophy triumph last year with both bat and bowl and it is clear that the team is missing the pace bowling all-rounder’s services this year. Chennai is now waiting for a final confirmation from the BCCI and NCA regarding Deepak Chahar’s case and will have to look for a replacement going forward into TATA IPL 2022.
