Delhi Doctor found with Rs 100 notes worth Rs. 70 Lakh

A Paediatrician was arrested on Wednesday on grounds of possessing Rs. 70 Lakh in cash all in Rs. 100 denomination.


The doctor is identified as Nallal and was arrested In Central Delhi’s Paharganj Area.

The Paediatrician doctor allegedly stashed bundles of cash in his car when a passerby noticed and made a PCR call.
Nallal was detained and it was found that he was carrying Rs. 69,86,000 in Rs. 100 denominations, police said.
The accused told police that his friend has given him all that money to keep and he was taking the cash to his house.
The matter has been forwarded to the IT department, which has taken up the probe.
