An adaptation of the South Korean movie ‘Ode To My Father’, Bharat will have Salman Khan in the lead role. Produced by Atul Agnihotri, brother-in-law of Salman Khan, the movie will be directed by Ali Abbas Zafar. Movie is expected to hit the floors in April 2018 and shall be shot in Spain and Abu Dhabi apart from India.

Talking about the movie, the producer Atul Agnihotri said “It’s the journey of a country and also a person, both of whom go by the name of Bharat. That film is just the starting point for ours but since it was an inspiration, we wanted in all fairness to officially own it and acquired the remake rights before going ahead with Bharat.”

All the previous Eid releases of Salman Khan – Ek Tha Tiger, Bodyguard, Kick, Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Sultan have been super duper hit and made huge profits. Though Eid 2019 is booked for Salman Khan’s ‘Bharat’, there’s no confirmed announcement yet for Eid 2018 release and speculations are high for Race 3 and Dabaang 3.
