Dimuth KarunaratneSri Lanka’s skipper, Dimuth Karunaratne got unlucky in ICC World Cup 2019. Despite being the captain of the Sri Lanka team, he got out at 1 run against England and in the next match against South Africa, he failed to score even a single run.
Rashid KhanAfghanistan’s spinner, Rashid Khan became the first person ever to give more than 100 runs in an ODI.
England’s defeat against Pakistan
In the match between Pakistan and England, England had to chase a target of 349 against Pakistan. Besides making two centuries in the match, it became the only team to face defeat. England scored 334 in 9 wickets whereas Pakistan scored 348 runs. Pakistan won by 14 runs.
