Euro 2020 best Playing11 of the tournament – Best starting XI at Euro 2020. Italy, as champions, dominated the best team at Euro 2020. Then, there were two players from Denmark who made a surprise appearance to qualify for the semifinals.

There is no doubt that Bonucci was a brilliant centre-back at Euro 2020. His form has been very solid since the group stage, where Italy did not concede a single goal.

The final match became the stage for Bonucci.  The Juventus player was very calm, even when Italy fell behind from the 2nd minute.  Bonucci then also scored one goal which made the score 1-1.

Bonucci was the Star of the Match final of Euro 2020.

Central defender: Giorgio Chiellini

Chose Bonucci but left Chiellini?  Impossible.

This duo has proven to be very solid when it is at its best.  Although no longer young, there is nothing to doubt about Chiellini.

Denmark gave a big surprise at Euro 2020. Their success in advancing to the semifinals of course could not be separated from Hojbjerg’s very vital role in midfield.

Hojbjerg has always been known as a defensive midfielder.  But, at Euro 2020, Hojbjerg slickly was able to fill the void in the Danish midfield after being left by Christian Eriksen.  Hojbjerg has a good attacking contribution.

Hojbjerg made three assists, created 11 chances and dribbled 10 times.  Hojbjerg also won 51 possessions.

Schick performed superbly at Euro 2020. He brought Rep.  Czechs qualify for the quarter-finals  Of the five matches played, Schick only failed to score when they met England.  Schick also scored a phenomenal goal in the duel against Scotland.

Left Winger: Raheem Sterling

Sterling may be considered diving in the duel against Denmark.  However, apart from that moment, Sterling performed very well at Euro 2020 as a whole.
