The heart of the city of Delhi, Connaught place market is surely one of its kind. We thought of exploring the colorful circles of CP and adjacent Palika Bazar and Janpath market to check out their peculiarity and bring them to you, and so here we are with an ultimate guide to the Connaught Place Market!

If you like wearing a particular Indian-wear brand such as Fabindia, W, Aurelia and the likes,  then you won’t be disappointed with their collection at the CP store. Further, the collection of western wear brands like Zara, Marks n Spencer is also updated every week. If you’re looking for formal wear, then brands such as Blackberrys, Allen Solly and the like would not disappoint you. As this is one the most trending markets of Delhi, the stores keep updating their collection with the clothes of latest trending cut, styles, and fabrics. Do also try to explore State Emporiums at Baba Kharak Singh Marg, Cottage Emporium and Khadi Emporium for some amazing stuff. The items are unique, reasonably priced and good quality.

Coming to the street shopping, you can go to Palika Bazar to get branded jeans at best prices (no guarantee of their being original though). Other things you can buy from Palika are Gaming consoles, DVDs of video games and movies – be it Hindi or English, scarves, keychains and lighters, perfumes and other knick-knacks. It’s also a good market for footwear. Adjacent to the Palika Bazar, there is lane which leads you to Janpath. We were looking for small souvenirs in here and surprisingly, there is a shop just at the beginning of the market which sells the most amazing souvenirs. You can also hunt for some of the prettiest accessories and stoles from this market. Regular wear T-shirts and formal shirts which are in vogue are also here! Janpath is one of the best places in Delhi to buy Imitation jewelry. Don’t forget to enjoy the famous Cold Coffee from Depaul.

If you’re a foodie, then also, this place is amazing! The inner and outer circles of CP houses swanky cafes, beer bars and famous restaurants like Pind Balluchi, Kake Da Dhaba. The Host to name a new. You can also find a lot of franchise eating joints such as Dominos, McDonald’s, Haldirams, KFC and the like. If you’re a sweet tooth, do visit Wenger’s Deli! And it’s a crime to go to CP and not eat Pan from the Odeon Pan Bhandar. So, do try different varieties of Paan when at CP!

Pro Tip: The market gets really crowded towards the evening, so try to go a lil bit early so that you can shop easily!
