Fastest 1000 Runs in IPL history – In his 24 years in cricket, Sachin Tendulkar has left no stone unturned. He is still the highest run-getter in the world in ODI and Test. Master Blaster also has the most number of centuries to his name in both the formats of the game.
But here is an interesting record by The Master Blaster. Sachin has played only one T20 International match in his international cricket career. That international T20 cricket match was also India’s first T20 game which was played against South Africa in Johannesburg.
Even though Sachin played just one T20 match in International Cricket, but he completed his task by playing in the IPL. He has participated in six seasons of this league and was also the captain of Mumbai Indians. Sachin has played 78 matches during six seasons. He was the first player of the league to score 1000 runs after playing lesser innings in IPL cricket.

It took just 31 innings for Sachin to complete 1000 runs for Mumbai Indians in his IPL career. Sachin Tendulkar did not show much interest in playing T20 matches at the international level, but it was not so in the IPL. He showed his class in this league and completed 1000 IPL runs in the quickest time. Sachin Tendulkar is the only Indian batsman to complete 1000 runs after playing just 31 IPL innings.
This record of Master Blaster is still intact. However, Suresh Raina is the second Indian batsman to have completed 1000 runs in IPL. Mr IPL took just 33 innings to score those runs while Rishabh Pant is third on this list. Flamboyant Pant took 35 innings to reach the 1000 run milestone in this cash-rich tournament.
Fastest 1000 Runs in IPL history – Apart from these batsmen, this list also includes Hit Man – Rohit Sharma and the CSK Skipper, Mahendra Singh Dhoni. They both scored 1000 runs after playing 37 innings each.
