As a boss, it is important to watch for the symptoms of an impending departure so that issues or concerns can be addressed before it is too late.
Female employees as compared to their male counterparts, are more determined and focussed in their job responsibilities. They don’t believe so much in frequent change and want to grow in their current job profiles which means job stability.
Here are some of the signs which the females have to keep in mind when changing a job:
- Work from Home Option or Work Flexibility

This gives them an added advantage to effectively balance personal and professional life with equal attention. You may not need this now, but if you are looking for a long term association with the prospective employer, you can’t be sure that you would never gonna need it.
- Company’s Work Burden/Responsibilities
Female employees that are married or have additional responsibilities of kids need to put in extra efforts for maintaining the work-life balance. Depending upon your work profile, check out the possibilities of taking an off or a short leave in an emergency. Those with small children, some companies are now offering help by way of arranging crèches around the office.
- Future Growth or Opportunities
Female employees that are ambitious or value their professional growth in the longer run, look out for companies or roles where there is ample opportunities to learn and grow. You can even ask the HR to let you know about the growth chart for your profile.
- Social Media
