Ganesh pancharatnam stotram lyrics in English – Shri Ganesha is known as a pot-bellied, elephant-headed God. Ganesha Pancharatnam is a stotra composed by Sri Adi Sankaracharya. The stotra tells the qualities and nature of Lord Ganesha. He also tells the benefits of praying him.
Pancharatnam means five jewels. In the stotram, Guru Sri Adi Shankaracharya praised Lord Ganesha by presenting these five stanzas as five jewels, hence the stotra is named Maha Ganesha Pancharatnam.

Anayakaika nayakam vinasitebha daityakam

Meaning: I lie down before Lord Ganesha who holds modaka in His hand, who bestows salvation, who wears the moon as a crown in his head, who is the sole leader of those who loses themselves in the world. One who destroyed the Gajaasura(elephant demon) and who destroys the sins of those who bow down to him, I worship such a Lord Ganesh.
