In the end, again sprinkle a little Akshat (rice) on Ganesha. Also, offer curd-sugar (sugar mixed in curd). A small pouch is also to be offered to Ganesha which contains some dry coconut, food grains (5 types), and sugar or jaggery. This is symbolic to ensure that he does not have to stay hungry on his way back to his adobe.
Seek Bappa’s blessings. Take the Ganpati idol in each corner of the house (if possible) so that in a symbolic way he sees the whole house where he stayed during the last few days. Keep chanting Ganpati Bappa Morya. After that, you can do the visarjan.
