Har Ghar Tiranga in English – The Tri-colour flag of India was adopted, in its present form, on July 22, 1947, during a meeting of the Constituent Assembly. On August 15, 1947, it became the official flag of the Dominion of India and was retained as the symbol of the Republic of India. The flag is a symbol of pride for every Indian, signifying hopes and aspirations.

To celebrate the 75th year of Independence, the “Har Ghar Tiranga” Campaign has been launched by the Ministry of Culture, Government of India under the aegis of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav. The campaign aims to encourage people to bring the Tiranga home and hoist it to mark their commitment to nation-building. This initiative will help in invoking the feeling of patriotism in the hearts of people and will bring awareness about our National Flag.
To cherish and mark this big occasion, all the individuals of India are encouraged to hoist the National Flag in their homes from August 13, 2022, to August 15, 2022. You can also post a “Selfie with a Flag” and “Pin a Flag” virtually at https://harghartiranga.com/ .

To pin a flag, the following steps are to be followed:

Step 01: Visit https://harghartiranga.com/ .

Step 02: Click on “Pin a Flag”.

Step 03: Enter your Name and Mobile Number along with a Profile Picture (If you wish to). You also need to provide access to “Your Current location” for the same.

For easy access, there is an option to “Continue with Google”.

Step 04: On submission of the details, click “Next”.

Step 05: On the virtual map of India, pin your location. And Congratulations, your flag has been pinned virtually.

Step 06: Download the Certificate and save it as a mark of your patriotism.

To upload a selfie with the flag, follow the below-mentioned steps:

Step 01: Visit https://harghartiranga.com/ .

Step 02: Click on “Upload selfie with a Flag”.

Step 03: Enter your name and choose the photo. Click on “Submit” and get featured on the portal.

Through this initiative, every person can strengthen their relationship with the National flag along with the feeling of nationalism. It would instill the highest level of patriotism.
