Being in shape and losing weight has been on almost on all our Resolution lists for years, over and over again. Yet, we never seem to reach our body goals and it just remains that ignored, unchecked box in our lists that haunts us.
No one has got the time or funds for those daily trips to the gym (Read: We’re all just plain lazy, don’t deny it.) So I present to you little things that require minimal effort but end up leaving a huge impact on the numbers on the weighing scale.
You’ve read this everywhere and probably know about it already but water plays a very important role in helping us lose weight. By staying hydrated all throughout the day, you can reduce your unnecessary intake of calories.
– Sometimes when you think you’re hungry, you’re just thirsty. Try drinking a glass of water before you reach for that packet of chips.
– Try opting for water instead of all those carbonated drinks. Not only are you reducing the calories, you’re also helping your skin look better.

#2. An empty mind is a devil’s workshop.
While doing things like watching T.V or listening to music, your mind becomes too distracted and you do not notice how much you’re actually eating.
– Make sure you try getting in some basic stretches while watching T.V.
-Opt for snacks like butter-less popcorn or some fruit instead of chicken nuggets.
#3. Eat more lose more.
No, you didn’t read that wrong. By eating 5-6 small meals a day, you can end up losing more weight than you would by sticking to 3.
-By increasing the intake of food, you can increase your metabolism rate as then your body will burn off more to make space for more.
-Make sure that you eat small healthy meals and snack healthy as well. Veggies with some hummus or a small lettuce wrap isn’t a bad idea for times when you’re craving something tasty to eat.

#4. Go nuts!
By eating nuts like Almonds, Walnuts, Pistachios you can actually reduce weight while providing yourself with essential food nutrients like protein.
-They are filling and energy giving, and are easy to eat on the go which will ensure that you don’t stop for a packet of your favorite chips.
