There are many natural ways to do this in the comforts of your home. We have some great ways that can help you exfoliate skin naturally at home and reveal fresh and healthy skin.

  • Baking soda— One item you probably already have at home is baking soda. It can be used for many purposes like to lighten underarm and whiten your teeth…This recipe is great for all skin type. Mix in a teaspoon of baking soda to your facial cleanser or make a paste of baking soda and honey.

  • Dry towel— This is another really simple method of exfoliating that requires no creams, scrubs, or lotions. The next time you have a shower, dry yourself with a towel as usual, but keep one towel in reserve and keep it dry. When your skin is dry, just rub yourself down again with the dry towel and it will remove the dead skin cells from your skin.

  • Dry brushing— You don’t need creams or scrubs to exfoliate your skin, all you need is a brush that has bristles. Brush your skin, start at your feet, and work your way upwards. You can exfoliate your entire body this way in about four, or five minutes. Once you have finished brushing your skin, cleanse and moisturize your skin.

  • Coffee— Coffee can be your favourite choice to exfoliate your entire body. It works as an exfoliant when it is available as a ground coffee, and when moulded into cubes can also battle stretch marks. Scrubbing Coffee on your feet can also be helpful.

  • Papaya. Papaya contains the enzyme papain, which dissolves dead skin cells. This enzyme may also help in healing skin and causing fine lines and age spots to lighten. Papain enzyme is mostly found in young fruit, so select green papayas. Make a smooth paste of papaya by mashing it and apply it to your face, leave it on for 15 minutes before rinsing with warm water.

  • Citrus— Citrus fruits are excellent natural Exfoliators, especially if you have dark spots on your face. You can combine lemon juice with milk or yogurt for a creamy cleanser or apply the juice after you cleanse for a non-scrubbing Exfoliator. Don’t just apply lemons, try adding grapefruit into a treatment as well.

  • Milk—There is lactic acid in milk, which removes dead skin cells. Pour a small amount into your palm and massage it on your face. You can combine whole milk with a whipped egg for dry skin type or add Aloe Vera for sensitive skin type. Add 2-4 cups of milk to your bath to exfoliate your entire body.
