6 easy steps for hair spa routine at home

NOTE:

(1) You should know hair and scalp type.
(2)The first four steps are common for all hair types.
(3)Step 5 has alternative methods for different hair types.

Step 1: Use coconut oil in summers and mustard/olive oil in winters to massage your scalp and hair for about 15 minutes. Leave it on for minimum an hour. (You can also use any other oil of your choice)

STEP2: The next step is providing steam to your hair. Use a cotton towel and dip it in warm water. Quickly squeeze out the excess water and wrap your hair in it trapping the steam. This will loosen your hair cuticles and allow the treatment to penetrate into the roots of your hair.

STEP3: After about 15 – 20 minutes wash your hair with a mild shampoo to clear off the oil and dirt trapped in your hair.

STEP4: Apply a conditioner to your locks to prevent them from tangling.

STEP5: The final step is to apply a homemade hair mask which provides deep conditioning to the hair.
• FOR DRY HAIR: Make a fine amalgamation of 1 banana, 1tbsp honey, 4tbsp yoghurt and 2 tbsp of olive oil/coconut oil.
• FOR OILY HAIR/SCALP: Mix beer, apple cider vinegar, a little bit of curd and just a hint of lemon.
