It’s okay to have an average hair fall rate of 100-150 strands of hair per day. It’s normal to lose this many hair every day but if the hair fall is more than this average then you must take necessary precautions…

Comb wet hair very gently and comb it with a broad teethed comb. This helps because when the hair is wet it tends to fall easily off the head if pulled. Using a broad teethed comb makes it easier to comb the knots.

Trim your hair every few weeks to get rid of brown and rough split ends. This surely needs to be taken care of because split ends can look really bad when you are out somewhere.

Don’t wash your hair everyday but whenever you do, make sure you use a conditioner on the ends of your hair after your head-wash. Don’t use different brands of shampoo and conditioner.

Rinse the conditioner with cold water, it strengthens the hair and also makes it shiny.

You should check the number of sulfates in the shampoo you use, people with dry hair must use a sulfate free shampoo.

If you have dry hair you should avoid coloring your hair. You can spray a mixture of lemon juice with water over your head when you’re heading out. You can also rinse your hair with chamomile tea after washing your hair with shampoo.

You can add honey to the water with which you wash your hair. It helps to make your hair shiny.
