Registered Since 1971, the brand is promoted under its sister concern S.S. Food Industries.  It all started in 1958 when Mr. Sita Ram Goenka decided to venture into the grocery segment. As a family business they started manufacturing chana daal in the year 1958 in state of Haryana with a daily production of 200 MT having bulk sales channel PAN India. After the initial success of its quality products, the company forayed into flours like besan, chana sattu and wheat atta in the year 1990. Later on, it introduced more products in consumer pack in the year 2011. With a turnover of Rs. 160 million, the brand has a strong foothold in the grocery retail segment.

 The main focus of the brand has always been to provide quality products at the best prices. To meet the growing demand, it was in the year 1995 that S.S India Foods Pvt. Ltd. was incorporated with a focus on meeting the requirements on both medium and large-scale supplies.
