IAS – Amay Khurasiya is not a well-known name in Indian Cricket. Amay didn’t get many chances to prove himself on the field. Before he got selected in the Indian team, Amay had passed the IAS exam. The former Indian cricketer made a very good debut during ODI in 1999-2001. Amay was the most educated Indian cricketer at that time.

Murali VijayMurali Vijay

The star opening batsman of Chennai Super Kings, Murali Vijay is the next name in this distinguished list of highly educated Indian cricketers. The Tamil Nadu opening batsman holds a graduate degree in economics from SRM University. Unfortunately, Vijay did not get enough opportunities despite having great talent. Engineer – Another South Indian player in this list is former Karnataka right-arm fast bowler Javagal Srinath. He completed his engineering in instrumentation from Sri Jayachamarajendra College of Engineering, Mysore but then followed his passion for cricket and turned out to be one of the most popular Indian cricketers. Srinath had a very successful career in the cricket world and was the spearhead of the Indian fast bowling attack for a long time.

Ravichandran AshwinRavichandran Ashwin

Engineer – Many Indian cricket fans from South may already know that Tamil Nadu’s off-spinner, Ravichandran Ashwin is an Engineer. He has a B.Tech (IT) degree from SSN College of Engineering, Chennai. He did his schooling at Padma Seshadri Bala Bhavan and St. Bede’s Anglo Indian Higher Secondary School. He also worked for Cognizant Technology Solutions after completing his graduation in engineering.
