ICC News Zimbabwe Nepal Cricket – The International Cricket Council has reinstalled Nepal and Zimbabwe as full members of ICC. The board members had a meeting in Dubai where this conclusive decision was taken.
Zimbabwe was suspended earlier in July this year. Now, they have been allowed to take part in the ICC Under 19 World Cup in January and can also participate in the tournament hosted by the ICC – ICC Super League.
The Zimbabwe sports minister has committed to giving full support to the Zimbabwe Cricket after being retained. The sports minister had the desire to work in support of Zimbabwe Cricket and she will have to comply with the conditions set by the International Board. The Zimbabwean Board will be funded in a control base as they will have to get the game back in Zimbabwe.

Now the Zimbabwean cricket will look to mark a new beginning and will ensure the game to be thriving and fully sustainable with financial stability.
Earlier Zimbabwe was suspended because the board violated the act’s Article 2.4 c which imposed the obligation as Zimbabwe failed to process free democratic elections in the country and they also failed to process any government interference in their cricket administration. The rule further said that Zimbabwe cannot participate in any events hosted by the ICC.
ICC News Zimbabwe Nepal Cricket – Nepal was also retained as the full members. In October 2019, Central Working Committee conducted an election along with an Independent Panel which supervised the Cricket Association Nepal that ensured the retainment of Nepal as the full members.
Nepal was suspended in 2016 after violating the ICC Rules and Regulations which said that they have failed to prohibit government interference and had to conduct fair elections in the country.

ICC News Zimbabwe Nepal Cricket – Since the suspension of Nepal, The International Cricket Council has been working with the Advisory group in Nepal which will compromise representative of the Cricket Association of Nepal. The Nepali Government and the cricket committee will draft a major condition which was set by ICC to Nepal Cricket in May 2016.
The progress made by Nepal will now be a transition plan that will be developed for the Cricket Association of Nepal to support the Associate Membership criteria that involve control funding.
ICC News Zimbabwe Nepal Cricket – $30.5 Million funding will be allotted for the Associate members for the year 2020, a 12 percent hike this year. These amounts will be given as per the rules of the Associate member scorecard competition and the grant model. This will support all forms in the development of the game in nearly 92 countries.
