The Vishukkani is prepared by Malayali women that consists rice, lemon, jackfruit, kajal, betel leaves, golden yellow Konna flowers, oil lamp, coins and image or idol of God Vishnu. The Vishu arrangement includes an image of Vishnu, usually in the form of Krishna. It is believed that on the day of Vishu, the first thing after waking up in the morning family members should see Vishukkani.
