Every year India celebrates Teacher’s Day on the 5th of September, which is hard to miss because it’s celebrated in all schools in some way or the other. This day marks the birth anniversary of S. Radhakrishnan and is dedicated to all hardworking, wise teachers and gurus for their knowledge and service.

8 September, International Literacy Day (ILD)

Declared by United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO), the lLD has been celebrated since the year 1967. 10 September, World Suicide Prevention day

World Suicide Prevention day has been introduced by International Association for Suicide Prevention (IASP) to create awareness about the increasing rates of suicide and promote preventive measures to help the distressed. For the years 2021-2023, IASP has announced the theme for this event to be “Creating Hope Through Action”

15 September, International Day of Democracy
