Vikram Rathour coach – MSK Prasad’s led – senior selection panel has decided to hire Vikram Rathour as the new batting coach of Team India and Sanjay Bangar has been sacked. He will be replaced with Vikram Rathour for the position of the batting coach of the men in blue. This decision was made by the selection panel which was led by MSK Prasad.

Vikram Rathour, Sanjay Bangar and England’s, Ramprakash were the candidates selected for the post of batting coach. While Venkatesh Prasad and Paras Mhambrey were rated below India’s current bowling coach, Bharat Arun. Abhay Sharma and T Dilip were behind the race with R Sridhar for the fielding coach position.

Vikram Rathour coach – The BCCI Officials will now need to have a meeting to finalize the 2-year contract which will go till the T20 World cup in 2021 in India. Ravi Shastri was re-appointed as the head coach of the Indian Team for the same time period. Vikram Rathour had a good experience and the BCCI members are convinced by his skills of coaching. So, BCCI members will declare him as the batting coach but they would like to confirm from him (Rathour) first.

Vikram Rathour coach – The team management needs a freshness in their support staff, that is why Sanjay Bangar will be replaced Vikram Rathour as India’s batting coach.
The BCCI officials also said that the first candidate will be preferred for the batting coach of India while the second and third candidates will be going to the National Cricket Academy or will be with the India A team. This will be done by the recommendation of Rahul Dravid.

As the first choice, Nitin Patel has been chosen as the physio and Girish Dongre has been chosen as the administrative officer for the panel. There are still five more candidates who are in contention, namely, Luke Woodhouse, Grant Ludden, Rajnikanth Sivagnanam, Nick Webb and Anand Date.
