Qatar was exceptional in the run-in Asian Cup 2019 back in January conceding just one goal in the entire competition against Japan in the final that they won. Qatar also just made their Copa America debut where they performed evenly against South American teams such as Paraguay and Colombia and had a realistic chance of reaching the quarter-finals. Afghanistan is still in development as Afghanistan does not have a top football league. They have a 29-year-old manager who is one of the youngest national coaches in football. Afghanistan is yet to prove their strengths. India should be defeating them if they have any chance of progressing. Afghanistan is ranked 149 in the World. The last team in the group is Bangladesh. They have the worst ranking in the group at 183. They defeated Laos 1-0 in the first round of the qualifiers, similar to Afghanistan.
