- The two teams play a 3 match T20 series
- The first match starts tomorrow
- The match will be played in Cuttack at 7 pm
After coming out on top in the test and 50-over format of the game India will be looking to continue their dominance over the Lankan outfit starting tomorrow in the shortest format of the game. Both the teams take on each other in a three-match T20 series with the first match being played on Wednesday at Cuttack. Having won the test and ODI series, India will be looking to win the T20 series as well and maintain their 100% over their neighboring country.
Despite going into the ODI series without their captain and one of the best batsmen in the world today Virat Kohli, India swept all over Sri Lanka as they won the series 2-1. They’ll be looking to replicate that same form as the Indian side is expected to see quite a few changes with key players being rested for the upcoming crucial and grueling tour of South Africa. Despite the cut and changed squad expects no loss in intensity from the Indian side that will go all out to demolish the Sri Lankan side and take home the series. For Sri Lanka it a different story though who have been trashed by India both home and away from all this year round. They will come out with a full strength team looking to finally one a series against Indian.
“We had a good chance to beat India in India, but we couldn’t execute with our middle order. We have to think about the T20Is, everything is passed, we have to think about the present,” Sri Lanka captain Perera has said in Visakhapatnam.
