King Kohli is the only player in India’s ODI cricket history to score a century and then get out by hit wicket. This incident happened with Virat Kohli on 16 September 2011 when the Indian team went on a tour to England.
On that tour, Virat scored 107 runs off 93 balls against the hosts, England. He scored that ton with the help of 9 fours and 1 six. He was dismissed by spinner Graeme Swann. Kohli was out due to hit wicket after scoring a ton in England. Thus, King Kohli holds this record of scoring a century and then getting out by hit wicket in the same ODI match.

VVS Laxman is the second only Indian player to feature on this list. He is the only player in India’s Test cricket history to score a Test century and then get out due to hit wicket in that very same match.
This incident happened in 2002 when the Indian team went on a tour to West Indies. In that Test match, Laxman scored 130 runs in the first inning. He scored that many runs off 244 balls and was dismissed by Marven Dhillon. VVS Laxman’s inning ended due to hit wicket and so, he is still the only Indian player to get out by hit wicket after scoring a test ton.
