Early life and Education
Rahul Vaidya was born on 23 September 1987 in Mumbai. During his childhood days, Rahul participated in “aao jhoomein gaayein”. When Rahul was in Second Year Junior College, he participated in Indian Idol where he finished third on Indian Idol, Season 1.

Career
Eight months after Indian Idol, Rahul released his debut album Tera Intezar which was composed by Sajid-Wajid. He sang many songs including “Hello Madam, I am your Adam”, “God Promise Dil Dola”, “Ek Ladki Anjaani Si”. Rahul has also performed in many concerts in Maldives, United States, and Bangladesh. Rahul was the anchor of show “Jhoom India” on Sahara. He was the winner of a reality singing show, Jo Jeeta Wohi Superstar. Vaidya sung Be Intehaan (Unplugged Version) from Race 2 in 2013. In 2014, Rahul released a summer party anthem of the year Fan, which became a hit on YouTube. Rahul also co-host a dance show “Aajaa Mahi Vay”.

Rahul Vaidya entered Bigg Boss 14 house as a celebrity contestant. Do you know, Hina Khan was a part of Indian Idol and in one of the episodes of Indian Idol, Hina Khan revealed that back in her college days in Delhi she had auditioned for a competition and it was Rahul Vaidya who was the special guest of that show. He even selected her as the winner.
