Fair Play Award
Rajasthan Royals could not win the title this season. But the team scored a 170-point table score and were awarded the Fair Play Award for the season.
IPL 2022 Final Man of the Match
The winning captain Hardik Pandya gave a spectacular performance throughout the season. And his brilliant performance in the final against RR helped his team win the championship. He took three crucial wickets, including the MVP of the season, Jos Buttler. Pandya was named man of the match for his performance in the IPL 2022 final.

Orange Cap, Most Valuable Player of the season
Jos Buttler gave his personal best in the IPL 2022, scoring 863 runs in 17 games. He was awarded the Orange Cup as the season’s leading run-scorer. His scorecard also earned him the title of most valuable player of the season.
Purple Cap
Yuzvendra Chahal was honored with Purple Cap for taking the highest wickets in IPL 2022. He played 17 matches and took 27 wickets in the entire season.
Super Striker
Dinesh Karthik has won the title of the best striker of the season for his spectacular bat work. However, his brilliant work couldn’t help the team to reach the finals, but he had delivered his best to help his team, RCB reach the playoffs.
IPL Emerging Player of the Tournament: Umran Malik (Sunrisers Hyderabad)
Sunrisers Hyderabad demonstrated its faith in Umran Malik, a rising cricketer from Jammu and Kashmir, by naming him as the team’s fast pacer in 2021. Umran was fourth in the highest wicket taker category, and his effort of taking 22 wickets in the entire season earned him IPL emerging player of the tournament.

Maximum Sixes Award in IPL
Jos Butter has been awarded with several awards this season, including the maximum sixes award in the IPL. He hit 45 sixes in the tournament, leaving behind Liam Livingstone of Punjab Kings and Andre Russell of KKR.
Best Catch of the season
During a crucial league stage match against KKR, Evin Lewis took a one-handed catch that became the sensation of the IPL 2022 season. This LSG player was awarded the best catch of the season.
Game Changer of the Season
The English player, Jos Buttler, was awarded with INR 10 lakhs for the title of game changer of the season. Buttler’s IPL 2022 overall performance is best, and he scored 863 runs, which is second highest after Virat Kohli’s 2016 runs record. Buttler made five 50s and four 100s throughout the season, which also helped the team to win many matches.
