IPL 2022 – IPL Fair Play Award Season Wise List – IPL introduced the Fair Play Award for the team that maintains the best on-field behavior throughout the season. During IPL matches, every team is scored on their behavior during the match. Thus, the team with maximum points is awarded the IPL Fair Play Award at the end of the IPL season.

2022: Rajasthan Royals
Rajasthan Royals have been awarded the Fair Play Award for IPL Season 2022. The team achieved 170 Point Table Score. They reached the finals but could not win the title!
2021: Rajasthan Royals
Rajasthan Royals won the fair play award in 2021 despite having 140 Point Table Score (PTS). They were awarded for playing their best game and were the season’s most stable and well-mannered team. The team did not progress to the finals, but they did win five matches in the series under the captainship of Sanju Samson.
2020: Mumbai Indians
Mumbai Indians finished the season with 165 point table score and won the fair play award in 2020 after playing 16 games. The team performed admirably under the leadership of the most favorable captain, Rohit Sharma.
2019: Sunrisers Hyderabad
Sunrisers Hyderabad were the most balanced team in the IPL during the 2019 season, thanks to the excellent leadership of Kane Williamson. After finishing their 15 matches for the season, they had a table score of 150 points. They were awarded the IPL Fair Play Award for the season.

2018 Mumbai Indians
After 14 matches in the 2018 IPL season, Rohit Sharma has enhanced the confidence of his players by winning the fair play award for the team under his leadership. Mumbai Indians had the highest table score of 74 points, which was the highest in the behavior category.
2017 Gujarat Lions
Gujrat Lions, led by Suresh Raina, were the most balanced team of the season, finishing with the highest table score in the category (73 points). The Delhi Daredevils scored 70 points, which was second to the Gujarat Lions.
2016 Sunrisers Hyderabad
Sunrisers Hyderabad were awarded the fair play award in the 2016 IPL season. The team inspired others to be as well-balanced as them. However, due to few key errors, their efforts were not enough to win the championship.
2015 Chennai Super Kings
CSK’s famous squad not only followed MS Dhoni to the final and gave a good challenge to Mumbai, but they also won the fair play award, serving as an inspiration to others. KKR was the second team to finish in this category.
2014 Chennai Super Kings
MS Dhoni never lost command of his national and international team members while forming the best batting order in the team with Ashwin and Jadeja. The team won the fair play award for the third time and demonstrated their best team strength in 2014.
2013 Chennai Super Kings
The team had a bad year in 2013 after the news of the scandal became public. However, CSK had already received the fair play award, but following the scandal, the IPL managing team removed that information from their official website.
2012 Rajasthan Royals
Rajasthan Royals played 16 matches in IPL 2012, earning them the IPL fair play award that year. They only managed to win seven matches in the series, but their teamwork was outstanding.
2011 Chennai Super Kings
CSK was named for the fair play award in the IPL for the second time in 2011, and its credit went to MS Dhoni. However, he widely gave this credit to his good team members for their collaboration and contribution to the team.
2010 Chennai Super Kings
After two crucial seasons, the team management under the great leadership of MS Dhoni was impressive! In 2010, the team received the IPL fair play award as a result of his superior leadership.
2009 Kings XI Punjab
The team managed to show their best in the overall season under the great captaincy of Kumar Sangakkara. Irfan Pathan and Yuvraj Singh were nominated for the most wickets and runs scored, respectively. They were unable to win the title, but their teamwork enabled them to receive an IPL fair play award.
2008 Chennai Super Kings
It was a heartbreaking moment for Dhoni and his teammates when they were defeated in the finals by the Rajasthan Royals. However, their team’s best performance earned them the IPL fair play award in the first IPL season in 2008.
