When RCB batsmen were under pressure, Virat Kohli and AB De Villiers proved their worth during the crucial match between RCB and GL in 2016. After losing Chris Gayle at 6 runs, they contributed 229 runs with the second wicket partnership. On 4th May, 2019, RCB fans lost hope as they watched key players getting dismissed one by one at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium. But the match for RCB was saved by Shimron Hetmyer and Gurkeerat Singh’s brilliant performance, in which they added 144 runs for the fourth wicket and became the highest partnerships by wicket in IPL history. 2016 – 5th Wicket IPL partnership by Shakib Al Hasan and Yusuf Pathan
Yusuf was known for his big sixes, and on 4th May, 2019, he added a 134-run partnership with Shakib Al Hasan. They contributed runs for the 5th wicket partnership, allowing KKR to add a competitive score against their opponent, GL.

2012 – 6th Wicket IPL partnership by Ambati Rayudu and Kieron Pollard
Ambati Rayudu and Kieron Pollard, who were key members of Mumbai Indians’ middle order, set an IPL record that is yet to be broken. Both players contributed 122 runs to the 6th wicket partnership, which is IPL highest partnership by wicket.
2015 – 7th Wicket IPL partnership by Jagadeesha Suchith and Harbhajan Singh
On 12th April 2015, Jagadeesha Suchith and Harbhajan Singh played an exceptional game in IPL history as the highest partnership by wicket. Both had contributed 100 runs to Mumbai Indians’ 7th Wicket partnership against Kings XI Punjab.
2014 – 8th Wicket IPL partnership by Brad Hodge and James Faulkner
Brad Hodge and James Faulkner scored 69 runs while forming the eighth wicket partnership in the IPL 2014. They made the IPL highest partnerships by wicket record of 71 runs in a crucial match between RR and MI.
