Both of them played out identical wins, with Punjab defending a total of 143 against Delhi and Hyderabad deafening 118 against Mumbai Indians. For Hyderabad, the win saw them get back to winning ways and restore the confidence of the best blowing line-up in the tournament while for the Punjab unit the win showed everyone that they are more than just a batting dependant side. A new side to Punjab came into play, with their bowlers outshining the batsmen to send warning signals to every team in the IPL.
