Controlled Expenditure to be carried out by BCCI for IPL 2020
IPL winner prize money 2020 – The Board of Cricket Control in India has taken a big decision ahead of the 2020 season of the Indian Premier League. The 2020 season of the IPL will start on 29th March 2020 in Mumbai. The first match of this season is also the last match of the last season. It is going to be a thrilling encounter between Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings at the Wankhede Stadium.
But before that happens, the BCCI has made some strict rules which help them in controlling their budget which will be used for IPL 2020 season. This controlled budget is for the prize money which will be given out to the winners of IPL 2020.

This notable decision was made in a circular which was sent by the BCCI to all the IPL franchises. That circular said that from now on, the IPL winners will get Rs 10 crores instead of Rs 20 crores. Till 2019 all the IPL champions got Rs 20 crores as the reward for winning the IPL.

IPL winner prize money 2020 in rupees – But now, the financial rewards will be revoked and some controlled expenditure will be done from this 2020 season of the IPL. As the BCCI is in cost-cutting measures, the runners up of the IPL which earlier got Rs 12.5 crores will now get 6.25 crores from the 2020 season onwards.
The IPL franchises are in a good condition to spend money and can sponsor their income through advertisements. So the two losing qualifiers will get Rs 4.375 crores each. With that, the state which will be hosting the IPL Matches will get Rs 1 crore each from the IPL franchises and Rs 50 lakhs each from the BCCI board.
IPL winner prize money 2020 – There is some cost-cutting measure for the employees of the BCCI too. From now on, the BCCI employees will not travel in business class flights when they travel within the Asian countries. Earlier these employees travelled in business class flights. But according to the rule of cost-cutting, now the BCCI employees can’t do that if the journey is within eight hours.
