It is not yet confirmed where Miku will be playing next but his agent said that he received offers from Major League Soccer in America and from the Chinese League. ISL Transfer News: Including Miku and Nerijus ValskisAfter the confirmation of his signing he said in an interview: “I am very happy to join Chennaiyin FC, a club that has won the Indian Super League twice. I am excited to take up this new challenge in a new country and I can’t wait to help Chennaiyin achieve success again”. Chennaiyin FC had a forgetful 2018-19 campaign finishing bottom of the points table with just 2 wins. They also scored the least number of goals and conceded the most. Chennaiyin FC also confirmed the departure of goalkeeper Nikhil Bernard and midfielders Isaac Vanmalsawma and Chris Herd from the squad. Isaac has been roped in by ISL rivals Jamshedpur FC on a permanent transfer on an undisclosed fee. On the other hand, Nikhil and Chris have left following the expiry of their respective contracts. These moves show that Chennai is in a desperate mood to make changes and improve the squad for the upcoming seasons.
