ISL Transfers News – Roy Krishna
The two time Indian Super League winner, ATK (previously known as Atlético de Kolkata) have been in the headlines for this transfer season. They have been able to sign the captain of the Fiji Football Team, Roy Krishna. Roy Krishna made his name playing in the Australian League for Wellington Phoenix. He spent 5 years in Australia and played 122 matches scoring 51 goals and made 26 assists. He has also scored 23 goals in 35 matches for Fiji. He also represented Fiji in the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and scored in a Group C match against Mexico. These statistics clearly demonstrate how good of a finisher and striker Roy is. He also won the 2018-19 A League Golden Boot (given to the top scorer of the season).
“One hundred and forty years ago, my ancestors came to Fiji from Kolkata, India, in search of better opportunities. Today marks the start of a similar journey as I join ATK in the ISL to go back to where it all began,” he tweeted after completing his signing formalities.

ISL Transfers News – Anas Edathodika
ATK has also signed the Indian midfielder, Anas Edathodika for the upcoming ISL Season.
“I am very pleased with the signing of Anas. He has established himself as a star defender and I believe he has a lot of potential. He will be an essential addition to the defense of the team,” said ATK head coach Antonio Habas.
Anas plays as a center back alongside Sandhesh Jhingan in the Indian National Team. He won the Pune FC Player of The Year award for 2012-13. That made him the first Indian as well as the first defender to win it.
ISL Transfers News – Xisco Hernandez
Delhi Dynamos have signed Xisco Hernandez from the reigning ISL Champions Bengaluru FC. Xisco is a midfielder who made 20 appearances for Bengaluru FC scoring once and providing five assists. He can also play on the flanks as an attacking midfielder. He played most of his career in the Spanish Segunda Division B after coming through the ranks at Spanish side RCD Mallorca.
“I am happy to be back in India after a successful first season outside Spain. Coach Gombau has vested immense trust in me and I am very sure that I will be able to deliver as per his expectations. Delhi has a very young squad and I see a lot of potential in the team. Once again, really happy to join Delhi Dynamos and I can’t wait to roar.” Xisco said to the media.
