Israel offered the famous Oscar-winning stars like Leonardo DiCaprio, Matt Damon and 24 others all-expenses-paid luxury trips a year ago.
Who all turned up for the trip?? None!!
Campaigners are claiming victory as it appears none of the 26 Oscars stars offered a free personalised tour valued at up to $55,000 has visited.
The offer was the part of gift bags given out by a marketing firm, at the time of the 2016 Oscars, worth $200,000. The gift bag contained other items such as ultra-expensive toilet paper, sparked a backlash.
Campaign groups accused Israel of trying to use the celebrities to have positive coverage.
After the Oscar ceremony on February 26, it appeared that none of the nominees has visited themselves.
Israel’s Tourism ministry had declined to comment or confirm whether the celebrities had taken up the offer or not.
