A unique “Jan Samarth Portal” for all the credit-linked government schemes has recently been launched by PM Narendra Modi during the “Iconic Week Celebrations” of the Ministry of Finance and Corporate Affairs at Vigyan Bhawan. The portal has been launched to provide simplified digital process to citizens for accessing all government credit schemes under one portal. Jan Samarth Portal

A combination of smart analytics and cutting-edge technologies has been used for guiding the users on how to check the subsidy eligibility and offers them an “auto-recommendation system” for the best suitable schemes as per their requirements. The entire process of lending has been automated by advanced technologies based on digital verifications.

SCHEMES LISTED ON THE PORTAL: Mentioned below is the list of 13 schemes are currently covered under the Jan Samarth Portal:

Under Educational Loan:

  1. Central Sector Interest Subsidy
  2. Padho Pradesh
  3. Dr Ambedkar Centre Sector Scheme

Under Agri-Infrastructure Loan:

  1. Agri-Clinics and Agri-Business Centres Scheme
  2. Agricultural Infrastructure Fund
  3. Agricultural Marketing Infrastructure

Under Livelihood Loan:

  1. Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana-National Rural Livelihood Mission

Under Business Activity Loan:

  1. Stand Up India Scheme
  2. Weaver Mudra Scheme
  3. PM Mudra Yojna
  4. PM Employment Generation Programme
  5. PM Street Vendor Atmanirbhar Nidhi Scheme
  6. Self-Employment Scheme for Rehabilitation for Manual Scavengers

HOW TO APPLY: Under this portal, four categories of loans exist, namely: Education Loan, Agri-Infrastructure Loan, Livelihood Loan, and Business Activity Loan. Under each category, many different schemes have been listed on the Jan Samarth Portal. The beneficiary can apply for the scheme by following the given steps:

Step 1: The beneficiary should check the eligibility criteria for the preferred category of loan and answer a few questions to match with the best required and suitable scheme.

Step 2: Submit the required documents along with personal details.

Step 3: Get Digital Approval from the selected banks.

Step 4: Track the application with real-time data at your convenience.
