KBD Juniors Season 2 trials are back. After a highly successful season 1 of KBD Juniors that saw an impressive 156.4 million viewers tune in, in 2017, the league is back with its season 2. In a bid to nurture and hone the skills of the upcoming future generation of Kabaddi players, the league has expanded immensely, sending out invites to 288 schools across the country, up from the 96 schools who took part in season 1. With the league panning 12 cities over the under 15 and under 17 category (boys and girls), the competition will be fiercer than ever at the trials which commenced on October 22 starting in Haryana.

Coming back to KBD Juniors Season 2 trials, growing leaps and bounds, Kabaddi has taken the country over like a storm. Encouraging youth to take up a sport in which India has been traditional warhorses; Star Sports came up with the unique concept of a junior league akin to the Pro Kabaddi league. The junior tournament will have 24 schools per city and 3,500 students between the age group of 11 to 12 years battle it out to make it to the grand finale to be played on the 20th of July, 2019.
