Match Highlights of Kerala Blasters And Jamshedpur in Indian Super League :

Kerala Blasters FC and Jamshedpur FC failed to score as the game between the two ended in a 0-0 draw at Kochi. With both the teams having drawn their first match also the result meant that both sides have yet to score a goal in two games of this season’s ISL. The match was a sordid affair with both teams failing to show any attacking intent and looking content to settle with a draw throughout the match.

With the second round of group matches underway, Blasters and Jamshedpur knew they would have to up their game if they wanted to begin leaving their mark on the tournament. With each having drawn their opening matches and having failed to score in them as well, the stakes for high as both squared off against each other on the night. With the need of the hour being to score goals for both it was rather surprising the attitude and intent shown by both teams as they both failed to get off under lights. The fact that neither side could convert a single opportunity they created was enough evidence of the lack of attacking talent at both teams disposal. Kerala Blasters hogged possession but Jamshedpur FC were just as dangerous on the counter. Kerala Blasters controlled much of the possession but failed to make an use of it as they kept passing the ball needlessly without penetrating Jamshedpur’s box. Kerala’s lack of goals has come as a surprise to many as new signing Dimitar Berbatov is yet to get a goal. Billed by many to light up this year’s ISL, Berbatov has failed to get off the mark and will have to work on his game a lot which has appeared very rusty till now. Jamshedpur on the other hand managed to create a few good counter-attacks but were wasteful in the final third.

It eventually ended up being a different day but the same result for both the sides who are both on two points after two matches.
