Kerala Blasters players – The Indian Super League club Kerala Blasters FC have been busy this summer as they are desperate to improve their position in the League. Kerala Blasters FC finished second last in the 2018/19 season just above Chennaiyin FC. Kerala Blasters FC is managed by Eelco Schattorie who is trying to improve the squad this summer. Let’s take a look at the signings done by him.
Kerala Blasters players – Bilal Hussain Khan
The first signing is Bilal Hussain Khan, the 24-year-old goalkeeper won the ‘Best Goal Keeper of the I-League’ for the 2018/19 season. He also won the Golden Glove as he kept most number of clean sheets. Bilal originally belongs to Uttar Pradesh; he also has experience in the south as he played for Gokulam Kerala FC in the 2017-18 I-League. Bilal is likely to start in the goalkeeper position for the blasters. John Burridge, former English goalkeeper is impressed by his abilities. John is also the goal keeping coach for the blasters. Kerala has always been in his heart and he will try to the best of abilities to represent his new club said a motivated Bilal Khan in the interview after his signing.
Kerala Blasters players – K P Rahul
Kerala Blasters FC have also signed a young right winger who goes by the name K P Rahul. K P Rahul represented India in the U-17 World Cup which was held in 2017. Kerala tried to sign K P right after the world cup but he preferred to join Indian Arrows, the AIFF’s developmental squad in the I-League. KP knows that fans expect a lot from him in the upcoming season and he has been working hard for it. He spent the last few months trying to further his skill by playing in Qatar’s local league. KP joins his former teammate Dheeraj Singh from the U17 squad in the blasters roster. KP decided to join Kerala as he wanted to play for a club that has the most fans. It will be exciting to see how the teenager performs in the league which is going to start in October.
