Keshav Maharaj Injury vs India – Another injury blow for South Africa. After Aiden Markram had a wrist fracture, the visitors will be without their lead spinner Keshav Maharaj too. Their lead spinner has been ruled out due to a shoulder injury.
The left-arm spinner George Linde has been announced as the replacement for Keshav Maharaj.
Keshav had an injury in the second test match that was played at Pune. He injured himself while fielding. An assessment was done with an MRI scan and the result said that Maharaj is not fit to play the 3rd and final Test at Ranchi.

Maharaj picked up just one wicket in the second test but his resilient 72 runs knock added the frustration to India. South Africa were 162 for the loss of 8 wickets when Maharaj and Philander added 109 runs which took South Africa to the score of 279 runs.
He again didn’t bowl that well in the second innings but his batting was a highlight again as Maharaj and Philander again added 56 runs in the second innings. Maharaj scored 22 runs in that innings.
Keshav Maharaj Injury vs India – Keshav Maharaj injured his muscle of his right shoulder. He was strapped and made to bat. But he was reassessed in regards to his bowling and showed significant discomfort which made him sit out of the third test match.
Keshav Maharaj Injury vs India – Based on the findings of the MRI scan, Maharaj will not be fit to play the next test match at Ranchi. The medical staff of South Africa said that Maharaj will have to go through the process of rehabilitation and can’t take the field for a minimum of 14 to a maximum of 21 days.
