Latest Guidelines for Covid-19 in Delhi – Delhi Disaster Management Authority has issued new guidelines in view of the fall in COVID cases in the National Capital. The current positivity rate in the city has come down to 4.3% and has 13,630 active cases. The meeting was chaired by Delhi Lt. Governor Anil Baijal. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal also attended the meeting virtually.

In view of decreasing cases in the city, DDMA has relaxed various restrictions in the region.
According to the new guidelines, schools, colleges, coaching institutes, and gyms can re-open from next Monday, 7 February. Schools will open in a phased manner with only classes 9-12 opening this Monday. However, all these institutions will have to strictly follow the COVID protocol.

Restaurants and bars in Delhi have also been allowed to function till 11 p.m. instead of 10 p.m. as notified in earlier guidelines.

Night curfew will continue but the relaxation of an hour has been given. The new timings for the curfew are 11 p.m. to 5 a.m.
Offices are also allowed to function with 100% capacity while following all the COVID guidelines.

Also, single drivers in a car do not need to mask up anymore.
Swimming pools are also allowed to re-open with strict adherence to COVID articles.
Deputy Chief Minister has further informed that classes Nursery to 8th from 14th February. He added that hybrid classes will continue, however, online classes will be discouraged to make way for physical classes.
The city recorded 2,668 cases on Thursday, 4th February. Last week, DDMA had lifted the weekend curfew in the city.
