  • Amazon India is planning to offer part-time jobs to students, homemakers, and retired professionals to ensure faster deliveries during peak season while also creating flexible jobs.
  • Microsoft India will launch AI digital labs in collaboration with 10 higher educational institutions including ISB and BITS Pilani.

  • India Resurgence Fund, promoted by Piramal Enterprises and Bain Capital, may reportedly close its maiden fund at $750 million against a target of $1 billion. The fund will invest in distressed businesses and/or acquire the debt of such businesses to enable and drive optimal restructuring.
  • HDFC Property Fund is set to raise a $500-million special situations fund to invest in residential projects.
  • IndiGo will be launching 12 new direct daily flights on the Buddhist circuit, connecting Kolkata, Gaya, and Varanasi from August 2019.
